SOME WONDERFUL MATHEMATICIANS
SOME WONDERFUL MATHEMATICIANS

Some wonderful mathematicians are in existence at the present time. These men are endeavoring to show that the next century doesn't begin until 1901. Therefore when a man owes another $1900 he must pay him $1901 to cancel the debt.—Mandan Pioneer.

It is fair to state that in the same issue of the Pioneer the absence of Editor Tuttle in New York is noted. Editor Tuttle is too honest to begin counting the first dollar of his debt with an "0," and if he counts it as he ought to then the last dollar will be 1900.
